In its July 2026 update, the city announced a standard $2 hourly rate for paid areas and the end of the first-hour-free offer, with implementation scheduled for September. Follow current signage for enforcement hours and payment options.

Little India is centered on Pioneer Boulevard between 183rd and 188th Streets in Artesia, California. Nearby side streets have additional food and shopping stops.
Can I get there by public transit?
Check current transit options using Metro’s trip planner and enter the exact Artesia destination. Service and transfers depend on your starting point. Artesia Station on the Metro A Line is in Compton; it is not in Artesia’s Little India.
Is this a good day trip with kids?
You can combine food and shopping with Artesia Park or a scheduled public skating session. Check age requirements, opening hours and activity availability directly with venues.
What if someone in my group uses a wheelchair?
Contact the specific businesses about entrances, restroom access, seating and any stairs or elevators. For instance, Rajdhani is on the second floor. Plan a route that fits everyone in your group.
